According to a Brazilian website, TecMundo, in two weeks we will know the new Moto G 2015 and another variant of the new version will be certified IPX7 for water resistance.
Specifically, the launch will be on July 28 and will start to ship the same day, although nothing was mentioned about the possibility of being supported as MotoMaker to customize.
The new Moto G will have a 5 inch screen with HD resolution and a 410 Snapdragon processor at 1.4 GHz.
Speaking about RAM it will feature a 2 GB memory and 16 GB of internal storage, the camera will be a good 13 MP rear and a front ideal 5 MP for selfies.
It comes with 4G LTE connectivity and the well known Android 5.1 Lollipop. The battery capacity will be 2470 mAh, clearly improving from last year’s model. According to reports the Moto G will have an alternative more affordable version that is set to feature 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB storage.
The Moto G has shown how important it is for Motorola. The best affordable handset simply invaded Moto’s smartphone sales, reaching their highest sale in the phone industry in 2014. What’s reason for its success? Simply the balance they present in their hardware, software and costs. Essentially, the Moto G was and still is one of the cheapest Android devices to stock the full experience without having to spend a fortune on a good smartphone.
A new 2015 Moto G seems to be the perfect device with premium features into an affordable handset. Acs mentioned thanks to a Tecmundo report, the new model is supposed to retail around the same as the second-gen G, and we think it’s highly particular that this phone will include 4G as the standard navigation connection as well as the IPX7 certification and what seems to be a very decent camera setup.
