The messaging application by Mark Zuckerberg has been growing since it got incorporated into artificial intelligence.
Facebook Messenger is growing by leaps and bounds. The company announced Wednesday that its instant messaging application, which will soon allow encryption end to end, generates over 1,000 million users every month, just like WhatsApp.
Last April, Facebook announced that 900 million people were those who used Facebook Messenger per month, the application that currently sits as the second most popular in iOS of all time, behind an app that can not take another place, Facebook.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of the popular social network, demonstrates once again why he is the king of the application market. According to the company, in almost all countries of the world, people use Messenger every day in very different ways: business and personal.
For some time now Zuckerberg and his team focused their efforts on promoting this ‘app’. One of its latest developments is that you can now make calls in a group of up to 50 people. A new possibility to follow ticking away rivals like Hangouts of Google, and Skype, from Microsoft. According to Facebook, 10% of all calls made globally, are performed via Messenger.
But from a professional point of view, Messenger has come a long way. In fact, in the last conference for developers, Zuckerberg announced that artificial intelligence would be key to his app. Facebook has long works in his own virtual assistant, Facebook M, which is integrated into the messaging application. It is the best tool with which users are served by other virtual robot users. Artificial intelligence, in this sense, is being the best ally of companies.
For this reason, every month it generates more than 1,000 million users, and the number of messages sent has doubled over the last year.
Since the Platform Messenger opened, they have launched more than 18,000 “bots” and more than 23,000 developers have registered to use the tools it has to offer.
